Jose "Joe" J. Pereira

Jose "Joe" Pereira died from injuries he sustained in a car accident just after midnight on December 16, 2021, outside of Heber, Arizona. He was 66 years old. Joe was born in Monte, Murtosa, Portugal to his parents, the late Jose Maria and Julia (Rebelo) da Sillva Valente Rebelo.

He has lived in Arizona since 2001 and had homes in both Phoenix and Show Low. Since 2001 Joe worked as a Global Planner for ASM America. The company specializes in the designing and building of semiconductor process equipment for wafer processing.

He is survived by his wife, the Love of his Life for 43 years, Maria Jose Leiras Pereira of both Phoenix and Show Low, Arizona; his daughter, Marcie Pereira of Portugal and by his son, Marcello Christopher Pereira of Phoenix, Arizona.

The public viewings will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Bueler Chandler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Drive in Chandler, Arizona 85225, and 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona 85901.

As the Pereira family is preparing to say, "Goodbye" to Joe, they are seeking the help of their community in searching for their dogs. Their dogs, who were traveling with the family when the accident occurred, were lost in the wake of the accident and have not been seen since. Many have helped in the search for their precious dogs but, to date, they have not been found.  Knowing that miracles happen every day, the Pereira family is hopeful that their dogs make it home safely or are found. Your continual prayers are greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
