Yesenia Luzin Robles Acosta

Yesenia Luzin Robles Acosta; a beloved wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, was involved in a critical car accident in front of her home at the young age of 32 on September 19th, 2023, and later passed at Summit Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on March 12th, 1991 in Nuevo Casas Grandes, Chihuahua, Mexico and moved to the states when she was 16. Yessi attended Snowflake High School in her youth and has been a long-time, 18-year resident of Snowflake, AZ. She was a loved and long-time employee of La Cocina de Eva who was known for her hugs and “happy birthday” songs.

Yesenia was survived by her husband of 15 years, Jose Robles; her mother, Elida Avalos and father, Lorenzo Acosta; her sister, Nancy Guadalupe Acosta Avalos; and her nephew, Sergio Mateo Camacho Acosta.

Yesenia found enjoyment out of the simple pleasures of life; she was loving, kind, and beautiful inside and out. Yessi was an extrovert who loved dancing, singing, and laughing with friends and family. She loved spending time with family, especially with her husband; he was her world and soulmate, and she was his. She was a member of Saint Rita’s Catholic church in Show Low. Yessenia was known for making and decorating beautiful and intricate sweets and cakes. She was an amazing person, always so happy and joyful. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. May her soul rest in peace. Yesenia we love you. Yesenia te amamos y te extrañamos. 

Public Viewing will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Snowflake Social Hall.  The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 30, 2023 at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Show Low with a viewing beginning one hour prior.  Concluding Service and Interment will be in the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake.
