Wayne Harvard Flake

Wayne Harvard Flake, of Show Low AZ, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 6, 2023 in the Lund Family Hospice Home in Gilbert, AZ after a yearlong battle with leukemia. Wayne was 68 and a former Thatcher AZ resident and a retired Air Force veteran.

Wayne leaves behind: his eternal companion, Joy; their children Janet Huntsman (Aaron), Preston (Krystal), Leisyl Stewart (Elijah), Jordan (Kaitlyn), and Tanner, 14 grandchildren, his sister Mary Jean Weech (Rodell) and brother Raymond (Margaret). Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Jeanene Flake; brother Clel and his wife Sherri, and foster brother Woodrow Wagner (Caroline).

Funeral services for Wayne will be conducted Saturday, Oct 14th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Show Low Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1401 W. Deuce of Clubs, Show Low AZ.  Concluding Services will follow in the RV Mike Ramsey Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake.

The family will receive friends Saturday morning, October 14, 2023, from 9:00-9:45 a.m. at the Show Low Stake Center Relief Society room.
