Wanda Jean Condit, age 77, passed away at her home in Snowflake, Arizona, on March 8, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.
Her celebration of life will be held at the Globe Cemetery, details are pending at this time.
Wanda was born in Yuma, Arizona to Amos Otto Woolen and Elsie Marie Spenser on January 24, 1945. She married Charles Condit on May 12, 1972, in Yuma, Arizona. She spent more than 50 years in the restaurant industry and loved being able to build relationships with so many people from all over the world. Wanda had a passion for cooking, baking, crafting, and sewing. She loved her friends and family, unconditionally, and protected them up until the very end. She was truly a warrior; she was the backbone of the family.
Wanda never met a stranger; she spoke to anyone and everyone she met as if they had been friends for years. She was also known to invite people to her home and cook for larger groups to ensure they had food to eat. She was an inspiration to so many to continue to work for their goals, regardless of where they came from and their education.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Condit; son, CJ Condit; mother, Elsie Sipes; father, Amos Woolen; sister, Sandi Witt; and brother, Don Woolen.
Wanda is survived by her son, Richard Carter Jr. (Susan); daughter, Suzette Mansfield (Jerry); eight grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren; as well as many friends.
