Virginia McClain

We regretfully announce the passing of Virginia McClain of Show Low, Arizona on October

18, 2022. Her Husband Steve McClain was by her side when she passed away

peacefully.

Our mother, Virginia, was one of the strongest and kindest women to ever walk this

Earth, and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. Virginia

graduated from Bakersfield College with a degree in Respiratory Therapy. After

graduating she went to work for Kern Medical Center. She raised 4 children while

working and going to school. Virginia was a wonderful and loving mother who gave

her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

Virginia was predeceased by her son Ronald VanEck. She is survived by her husband, Steve

McClain; son, Donald Van Eck; and daughters, Bridgette Smith and Clarresse Van Eck;

8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
