Viola Jeanette Parrish

Viola "Mickie" Jeanette Parrish was born on March 29, 1936 in Lake Zurich, Illinois to Letha M. and Noah E. Bonebrake. She passed from this life to the next on August 19, 2021. 

She lived an ordinary life with simple pleasures. She loved what nature had to offer from the flowers in her garden to the leaves of Fall. Her favorite things were baking, quilting, holidays, western movies yard sales and most of all her family. We were blessed to call her daughter, sister, Mother and Grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was her family and those who would become known as family. They filled her life with love, happiness and joy. 

She will live on in our hearts forever. 

She is survived by three children: Rick (Mary) Parrish, Candice (Vance) Hancock and Robin Brumage; 12 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mabel Morris of Illinois and Betty Smith of Colorado. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Carruth; her parents, three brothers and two sisters. 

A private family memorial service will be held at the Show Low Cemetery in October.
