In loving memory of our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, godmother, aunt and niece, Viola John Hopper, who was born on Tuesday, October 12, 1943, in Whiteriver, Arizona, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, in Mesa, Arizona.
Viola enjoyed cooking, having company over, dancing, & traveling near and far to visit with family and friends. She loved to watch her daytime shows which included her favorite soap operas, The Price Is Right and wrestling. Viola was a beautiful, smart and loving lady who will be greatly missed by her large family and many friends.
Viola leaves behind, and is survived by: her loving husband of 46 years, Tilford Hopper; her children: Ricky John, Randy Barbosa, Marlin Hopper, Sr., Marlin Hopper, Jr., Kelly Baylish, Frankie Clarkson; one daughter-in-law; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 goddaughters: Tia Cromwell, Miriam Edwards, MaKayla Lupe; 3 aunts: Evelyn Barbosa, Judy Quintero, Virginia Larzelere; 3 uncles: Raymond Larzelere, Alvino Hawkins, William Hawkins; 4 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William John and Bessie Kessay as well as 6 sisters.
Viola will be brought back to her residence, 2517 Fort Apache Road in Whiteriver, Arizona for a 2-day wake, beginning 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 2, 2019. The funeral service will begin 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 4, 2019, at the East Fork Lutheran Church. The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the Mission View Cemetery in East Fork.
