Victor Wallace Hudson

Victor Wallace Hudson was born on December 6, 1931 to Victor Harold Hudson and Helen Mildred Lewis in Spokane, Washington.  Vic came to Snowflake in the early 1960’s to start the Snowflake paper mill, where he worked 30 plus years, where he was respected by his co-workers and made many lifelong friends.

Vic married Margaret Hendren in 1950.  They had five children together, Craig, Mark, Wade, Rosanna and Lisa.  Vic was very proud of his children and took every opportunity to boast about their accomplishments. 

Vic married Kenny Beth Adair (Hudson) on April 10, 1992.  Kenny Beth had 3 sons to add to the family Ty, Matt and Owen.  Vic was an amazing bonus dad to the boys.  Vic loved and treated the boys as his own.  The boys will forever be grateful for Vic’s love and acceptance. 

Vic was a happy person who lived life to the fullest and he never wasted a moment of his day.  He never knew a stranger; he could walk into a room full of strangers and would leave knowing every person in the room. Vic was very charming and loved a good hug.

Vic was an avid snow skier and skied well into his 70’s.  He loved to attend and participate in team roping events and rodeos atop his favorite horse Chico.  He was a talented woodworker and many family members have pieces of furniture crafted by him. 

Vic was very patriotic and loved his country.  He was a generous person and was always the first one to help anyone in need.  He was a dedicated husband, father and grandpa.  He was a great example of a hard worker, an honest and kind person.

While he will not be here with us physically, we are blessed to have the treasured memories that we will carry with us each day. 

The family would like to thank the Compasses team who provided such tender care and respect to Vic during this difficult time.

Vic left this earth on August 11, 2021 sleeping peacefully in his home in Snowflake, Arizona.

Vic left behind his loving wife Kenny Beth, his children Wade (Sue) Hudson, Rosanna Trekas, Lisa (Jim) Teynor, Matt (Diana) Armijo, Ty (Lisa) Armijo and Owen (Tashia) Christianson. He had 24 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, 2 sons and one grandson and one great-grandson.

A celebration of life will be held at the CCPA building 1355 S Main Street, Snowflake, Az, 85937.  Saturday August 21,2021 from 12pm to 4pm.  The family invites anyone who knew Vic to come out and help us celebrate this amazing man.
