Timothy Michael Cox

With great sadness we announce the passing of Timothy Michael Cox, 51, on July 22nd at home with his family by his side, after a 13 month battle with brain cancer. He was born June 26th, 1967 in Santa Clara, California, the second of three sons for his parents Wanda and Dennis Cox.

The Cox family moved to Show Low in 1985, where Tim attended Show Low High School. It was there he met Dorothy, his high school sweetheart who has been the love of his life for 32 years. They had two children and made a home for themselves in Linden. Tim was always a good provider for the family, starting his own window cleaning business at a young age, then later starting Landscape Creations. 

Tim was a great entrepreneur and a hard worker, who took pride in a job well done. An outgoing guy who made friends wherever he went, he was genuinely interested in people and their stories, and was good at making everyone laugh. He had an adventurous spirit and loved four wheeling, dirt biking, boating, water and snow skiing, mountain biking, golfing, and any outdoor activity that caught his interest.

A truly kind soul, Tim loved his friends and family deeply. He was a great husband, father, son, brother, and friend and would do anything for the ones he loved. He is gone much too soon, and will be missed by many.

Tim is survived by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, Andrea; son, Tyler (Lindsay); grandson, Theo; mother, Wanda; brothers, Darren and Kevin, plus many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and all the friends who loved him like their own family.

A short Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Show Low Seventh-day Adventist Church, 701 S. 8th Ave., Show Low. All who knew Tim are welcome to attend.
