Susan Lynn Young

Susan Lynn Young, age 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 18, 2019 from cancer. She was born on June 16, 1958 in Phoenix, Arizona. She married the love of her life, Steven Young in 1987 who preceded her in death in 2003.

She leaves behind a very extensive family that she was very proud of. Sue was world-renowned for her lack of patience, not holding back her opinion and a knack for telling it like it is. She always told you the truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. She raised her 3 children, along with many others, as her door was always open. She had a vivacious personality and always made those around her laugh.

She made friends everywhere she went and her patients at LabCorp loved her as well. She was genuine to a fault with a heart of gold and yet sugar coated nothing. She liked 4 letter words as much as she loved her family.

She is survived by her children, Brooke Ellis, Joshua Atchison and Dylan Young; her grandchildren, Miranda, Mikaela, Baily, Shayne and Jaden and many others she touched and loved deeply.
