Steven McInelly

February 5, 1942 — July 19, 2018

Steve McInelly passed peacefully in his home on July 19, 2018, surrounded by his family. Steven Rubeck McInelly, 76 years old, was born February 5, 1942 to Rubeck and Alice (Hess) McInelly, in Pocatello, Idaho. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Gloria McInelly, children Mitch McInelly (Emily), Darlene Harris (Jon), Mike McInelly (Dana), Dorson Wallace (Diane), Marty McInelly, Leanna Young (Kert), Lorinda Schrolec (John), sister Jeanie Standley (Armond), and brother Donald McInelly, 24 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Leah Rae Johnson. Steve attended Council High School in Council, Idaho, where he excelled in all sports. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and especially taking a drive in his 49 Willys Jeep. The White Mountains of eastern Arizona was his playground. He was a logger by trade since 18 years of age. He retired in 2008 from Navapache Electric after 28 years of sharing his trade. And…we will never forget how he loved and cared for his hummingbirds and his poms. He loved the Lord with all his heart, mind, body, and soul. He will be greatly missed by all friends and family.  His Celebration of Life will held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the home of Steve and Gloria McInelly.
