Stephen Michael Poynter

Beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend, Stephen Michael Poynter passed away April 25, 2021 in Tucson, Arizona.  He was born on December 24, 1965 in Peoria, Illinois.

Young and full of life he enjoyed and excelled in many athletic activities including baseball and basketball in his home state of Illinois.  Later on he found his passion in Martial Arts.  Among Stephens many talents, he enjoyed training horses, dabbling in the art of knife making, hiking, fishing, and exploring the beauty of the Alaskan Mountains and along the coast of Washington State where he had the wonderful gift of living in both places.

Although he is greatly missed, his family and friends are blessed to know he is now free, healthy and happy.  They find great comfort in knowing they will be reunited and will see him again.
