Stephen Caldwell

Stephen James Caldwell was born March 19, 1952 in McNary, Arizona to James T. and Rilla Lewis Caldwell. He died May 16, 2024 in Lakeside, Arizona from metastasized prostate cancer.

He attended and graduated from the Blue Ridge school system. He participated in various sports and in particular loved basketball; plus attended one year at NAU. He served for two years in the Delaware Maryland mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He married the love of his life, high school sweetheart Deborah Lynn Miller (Tobey) who sadly passed away in 2015.

He is survived by three children, Trevor Matthew of San Diego, California, Garrett James of Huntsville, Alabama and Courtney Christine (Randy) of Vernon; one granddaughter, Anna Elise of Ocala, Florida.

Steve retired from Navopache Electric Cooperative after 32 years of service. He immensely enjoyed the work, co-workers and the nourishing atmosphere of the company. Steve would like to acknowledge loved ones, family and friends that sent prayers...they were felt and the strength received was beyond vital. "Thank you."

A graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Show Low Cemetery.
