Interment will follow immediately at the Taylor Cemetery.
Shirley was born in McNary, AZ on May 10, 1942 to Edward Franklin and Mette Kirstine (Christina) Hansen Adams. She was the 13th and last child to bless their family.
She married her sweetheart, Kenneth Hatch, on June 14, 1958. They raised their 5 children in Show Low, Taylor, and Joseph City.
She was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She was devoted to caring for her children and teaching values of hard work, compassion, and love of God. Shirley was a life-long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings in the church, but her favorites were: Girl's Camp Leader and Relief
Society Counselor. She had a great capacity to love and have fun with others. Her home was always open to family and friends. She found enjoyment in serving others.
Shirley was always busy volunteering and she had a variety of small jobs as she raised her children. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, gardening, playing card games, and spending time with her family and friends. She became a medical assistant and worked in the Snowflake-Taylor schools.
Shirley's children have always been touched by their mom's faith and trust in our Lord, Jesus Christ. Her example of love towards others was evident in her everyday life.
Shirley is survived by daughters Shanna Tobar (Dan) Poway, Calif., Lori Ann Hostetter (Sid) of Globe, Lisa Lee Larson (Lonnie) of Mesa, Trina Kay Lincoln (Ian) of Campbell Calif.; son, Frank Bly Hatch (Mary Lou) of Surprise; 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
