Sarah "Elaine" Stoddard

Elaine Stoddard, beloved wife, mother, grandmother passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 with her husband and children by her side at her home in Show Low. Elaine was born on June 29, 1939 to the late John William & Virginia (Mills) Hall in Show Low, Arizona.

She attended High School at Snowflake Union High. After graduation she married Bobby Stoddard on June 22, 1958. They moved to Long Beach, California for the next year and a half where Bob was stationed in the Navy. Upon Bob's release from the Navy they moved to Phoenix, Arizona where they welcomed their first child. They later moved to Show Low, Arizona where they welcomed 3 more children. Elaine was a homemaker and loved to crochet, sew, and bake. She was also extremely talented with her hands.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Bobby Stoddard; children, Wade (Anne) Stoddard, Steven (deceased) Nancy Stoddard, Melinda (Bill) Quimby, Shane Stoddard; 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a brother, Roy (Shelia) Hall.

Elaine's warm smile and caring nature touched the lives of many and she will be deeply missed by her family.

Elaine's family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who preceded her in death, including her parents, her son Steven, her sisters Shirley Reidhead and LaVell Fejes.

Elaine's wishes were to be cremated and no service is planned.
