Sandy Callender

Sandy Callender passed away from a long bout with cancer on Oct 31, 2021.  She was 71, born in Boston, MA on October 20, 1950.

She is survived by her son, Tony, sister, Joy, brother, Bud (and his wife Nancy) and many nieces and nephews.

Sandy was a free spirit with a strong drive that led to a career in the IT industry which took her half way around the world to Kuwait, and several states from California to New York.  She always loved a good adventure whether it was hiking, camping, or cruising.  Sandy made numerous friends here in the Show Low community and was active in the White Mountain Gem & Mineral club as well as a local book club.  She also loved animals and volunteered at Pet Allies, until it was no longer possible to do so.
