Salome Aguinaga

November 15, 1941 — February 17, 2021

Salome (aka Sam, Sal, Junior and Echo) Aguinaga of Show Low, Arizona peacefully passed away from Covid-19 on February 17, 2021 in Show Low. He was 79. Salome was born on November 15, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents Salome and Dalia (Alcala) Aguinaga and was raised on the South Side of Chicago

He enlisted in the United States Army in 1959. He served in the Airborne Division until an accident transferred him to the logistics division in Vietnam and later in Germany during the Cold War.

Salome is survived by his loving wife, Jeannette of 47 years; son, Anthony; granddaughters, Miranda, Antonia and Christine; great-grandchildren, Connor and Nova Day; 76 nieces and nephews; his brother, Nicholas and sister, Christine Plada.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Thomas and sisters, Peggy and Rosie.

Private services were held.
