June 21, 1930 – October 26, 2018 

Mother, G-ma, sister, and wife.  Ruth passed peacefully in her home in the presence of family.  Born to Claus & Winifred Anderson in Dearborn, Michigan, Ruth was the eldest of two sisters.  Wife of Bob Nelson for over 50 years, she is survived by her two children, Sue Hudson (Willcox, AZ) and Scott (Houston, TX), 5 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.   

Ruth got much out of life, and gave back a great deal.  She was an avid golfer, international traveler, skier, and volunteer - she was active in Pinetop/Lakeside TRACKS, Show Low Summit Hospital, and Arizona Sunrise Adaptive Ski Program. 

The memorial service will begin 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, Ruth's family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of your choice.
