Russell Carl Kuhl, Sr peacefully passed away on September 24, 2024, at his home in Pinetop, Arizona. He was born on November 13th, 1944 in Ohio to William and Martha Kuhl.
He was raised with two sisters, Signe and Marty. Russ was a loving and amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, grandpa and great grandpa.
He married his high school sweetheart, Jenny, and they were blessed with four children. They were married for 31 years until her passing.
He met his second wife, Dawn, with whom he would spend the rest of his days loving, at church. They had a whirlwind love story and after only 5 dates knew that the Lord had introduced them to spend the rest of their lives together. They were married for 28.5 years.
He loved to help the people around him and he was always steady in it. He was a dedicated member of the White Mountain Sherriffs Posse, Pinetop Fire Department, and his church. He'll be remembered for his grace, patience, and his love for God, in everything he did. He was a simple man, who loved his family more than anything.
He now reunites among the angels with Jenny, his daughter Chris,
stepson Nate, and his great-grandson Joseph.
He is survived by son, Russell "Rusty" (Janessa) Kuhl, son, Michael (Maureen) Kuhl, son, Jeffery (Amy) Kuhl, son-in-Law, Clyde Holyoak, stepdaughter, Alisha (Tom) Kaiser; his grandkids: Kevin Kuhl, Nicholas Kuhl, Aaron Kuhl, Daniel (Desiree) Holyoak, Cory Spelce, Heather Kuhl, Amanda (Danny) Johnson, Jake Spelce, Lucas (Kourtney) Kuhl, David Holyoak, Rachael (Kaden) Tisdell, Jennifer Jayd Kuhl, Bridgette Kuhl, Zoe Kuhl, Zachary Kuhl, Karver Kuhl, Lily Herndon, and Megan Herndon; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
To know him, was to love him. He will be deeply missed until we meet again.
