Robert Elmer Schneider

Robert Elmer Schneider, 89, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2019. He was the husband of Janet Elaine Hicks Schneider and they shared 65 wonderful years together. Born in Lakeside Arizona, he was the son of Elmer and Winona Schneider.

Bob served in the Korean War. He loved spending many years as a coach, teacher and school administrator. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and lovingly served as a Bishop, High Counselor and Temple Worker. He served two church missions. The first was in the Central Atlantic States Mission and later in life he served with his wife, Janet, in the St. Louis Missouri mission.

He is the father of 6 children; Susan Schneider, Steve Schneider, John Schneider, Jolynn Robinson, DeeAnn Beall and Bobby Schneider. He was the proud grandfather of 27 grandchildren and 57 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at the R.V. “Mike” Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake, Arizona.
