Robert Covert

Robert Charles Covert (Husband, Dad, Papa, Son, Brother, Papa Cove, RC, Vern, Brother Darryl) passed away peacefully at home on January 15, 2024, at 6:59pm surrounded by his loved ones.

Robert was 65 years young and left behind his children Jason Covert, Justin Covert and Cheyenne Tafoya along with their significant others Janna Covert, Devon Tafoya, and Shelby Kay. He was a proud papa of his six grandchildren Allie Covert, Alexis Covert, Ava Covert, Teigen Kay, Teal Covert, Gabriella Tafoya, and additional family Darcy and Heather Zitar. The Zitar's children Bekka, Rachel, Tia, Jordan, Devin, Kristyn, Dakota, Dallys. They loved Robert as their uncle.

Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona he met the love of his life Kelley and married her in 1984 starting his forever family. Together they loved to fish, camp, have family BBQs, and help anyone who needed it. Robert will be deeply missed, but he will be reunited with his beloved wife who passed away in 2021. As the Covert's say, "Keep the party going!".
