Rivan Ernie Reed, 64, of Cibecue, Arizona died November 23, 2018 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born March 6, 1954 in Cibecue to the late Ernest and Ruth (Patterson) Reed.

Throughout his life, he worked for various places. He was a radiologist technician at the Cibecue Health Center. He worked at Tribal Forestry as a mechanic, a transportation driver with Cibecue, tire shop manager in Cibecue, sawmill (Cibecue FATCO) land operation, mechanic at Future Tire and Jiffy Lube. His last job he had he was employed with the White Mountain Apache Tribe Housing Authority in Cibecue for 15 years as a maintenance worker.

He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and traveling to different places. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, but most of all he loved preaching God’s word. He pastored the Cibecue Full Gospel Church for 18 years. He built his church in 2008. He and his wife, Gloria, traveled many places together for church.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Gloria (Quay) Reed; daughter, Pamela (Andretti) Pike; 3 grandkids, Kaiden L. Reed, Dreona K. Pike, Andre J. Pike; 2 brothers, Steven (Gigi) Reed, Jefferson Reed; 2 sisters, Alberta (Wilkie) Gregg; Margaret (Andy) Edwards with many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruth Reed; a brother, Abel Reed and a nephew, Daniel Dan Davis.

A two night wake will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 7, 2018 at the family home, 5 S. Quay, in Cibecue. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the Full Gospel Church in Cibecue. Interment will follow in the Shadow Mountain Cemetery in Cibecue.
