Richard Howard Dorr

Richard H. Dorr age 67 died peacefully at home on April 10, 2021. Richard was born October 24, 1953 in Phoenix Arizona to Samuel and Dorothy (Lee) Dorr.  He was raised in Phoenix until the age of 12. The family then moved to Barstow, California where he lived until he joined the army in 1971. After he returned from service in Germany he married his high school sweetheart and they moved back to Phoenix and raised 3 beautiful girls.  He spent his career as a mechanic and maintenance engineer. He retired from Conair in 2013. He then moved to Pinedale Arizona. He spent his time working around the house and took great pride in where he lived.

Richard loved spending time with his family, motorcycles, camping and fishing. According to everyone who knew him he could fix anything and people always asked him for advise. He was a wonderful husband for 46 years and a loving father and grandfather aka Rick.  He leaves behind his wife Elaine of Pinedale; daughters Becky Blue of Surprise, AZ, Lisa Dorr of Glendale AZ and Debbie Dorr of Glendale, AZ; 3 grandsons Isaiah, Marcus and Elijah Blue. He also leaves behind 3 sisters Kathy Baldwin of Meridian Idaho, Annette Moyers of Round Top, TX and Dixie Bruni of Vienna, West Virginia. 

Inurnment will be in the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85024.
