Rex Brown

Rex Lee Brown was born 8/16/1955 and entered Eternal Life with his Savior Jesus Christ on 12/15/2023 in Show Low, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister and leaving his only sibling Roy Brown along with numerous cousins.

Rex was born in McNary, AZ to Lloyd and Sarah (Milligan)Brown, graduated from Blue Ridge High School and then earned a degree in Computer Science from NAU in Flagstaff AZ.

His degree started his career for a large Japanese company in Bellingham, WA, then an IT position for Show Low Community Counseling Center (now Change Point), and his final working years were for Garmin in Phoenix AZ.

Rex was always active in all his church homes, mostly as worship leader and occasional Bible studies. He led worship teams for Vineyard churches in Flagstaff, AZ and Bellingham, WA when he resided there. Rex retired to Show Low and was the worship leader for his final church home here at Linden Hills Family Fellowship for a long time.

Rex was very active in his faith, loved traveling and brewing his own Meade at Christmas which his friends and family will miss! Rex's travels took him to Ireland, Scotland, England, Costa Rica, Cuba, and other countries. Rex was a talented singer, a guitarist and he wrote music for special occasions to bless others.

All of his friends and family will miss Rex, but we know Heaven is brighter with him there and we look forward to joining him there in our Lord's Perfect timing.

There will be a celebration of life at Linden Hill Family Fellowship in 2024 and an announcement of the date and time will be placed in the paper for a couple weeks prior to the decided date and time.
