Renee Katherine Rose

Renee Kathrine Rose, 88 of Pinetop, Navajo County, Arizona passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at her home in Pinetop.  She was born on March 10, 1930 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio to the late Eugene & Irene Kosak. Renee grew up and attended school in Ohio, upon graduating from high school she moved to Arizona and obtained her Teaching Degree from Arizona State University.  This is where she met the love of her life, Robert H. Rose.  They were married a short time later.  Both Renee and Robert worked as school teachers, along with teaching, they purchased and ran the Lakeside Lodge.  The Lodge has been their family business for the past 50 years. Renee loved to watch the old Turner Classic movies, she also enjoyed talking with her family and friends.  She especially loved her visits with her grandchildren. Renee is survived by her daughter, Wendy Rose of Pinetop.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert on April 19, 1988; and this year her daughter, Pamela Dunn and son, Craig Rose. At the request of Renee, she will be interred next to her husband Robert at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
