Raymond Ralph Reel

Raymond Ralph Reel, 75, passed away on March 27, 2018 at Summit Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona. He was born May 11, 1942, “in the middle of a thunderstorm” in Porum, Oklahoma to his parents, Charlie and Helen Reel. Raymond served in the U S Army, as well as the National Guard. He retired from serving in the Navajo County Sherriff’s Office, after 25 years. He also rode for the Hashknife Sherriff’s Posse for 10 years.  Raymond loved his family with all of his heart and will be dearly missed by each of them. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; three sons, Steve, Jack & Joe; sister, Vera; brothers, Charles & Rusty; 11 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Effy, Patty, Fay & Francis; and brother, Sam. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church, 1655 S. Main St., Snowflake, AZ. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 7, at the same location.  Burial will follow immediately at the R.V. “Mike” Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake. A potluck luncheon will follow at the OLS Community Center.
