Raymond Leroy Garberich

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Raymond Garberich announces his peaceful passing on March 11, 2018 at the age of 85. Ray was born in 1932 and lived in Show Low, Arizona. He was born to Roy Raymond Garberich and Erma Beatrice Holmes. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War and then attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering. Ray worked in civil service for 14 years, then started his own business and cared for his ailing mother.  Ray was an avid lover of dogs, enjoyed shooting at the range, playing golf, was a record setting skydiver and private pilot license holder.  

He is survived by Sherry, his long-time partner of 31 years; son Steve and wife Stacy; son Jeff and wife Stephanie; his grandchildren Kirsti, Nicholas, and Nicoletta, his niece Donna and great niece Brandie. He was truly a kindhearted man, always giving and helping whenever he could. He will truly be missed.
