Ramona M. Hartman

July 8, 1944 — March 20, 2018

Ramona M. Hartman, of Show Low, Arizona passed away on March 20, 2018 at her home in Show Low. She was 73. Ramona was born the 10th of 11 children to her parents the late, Felisardo and Marcela (Miranda) Montijo on July 8, 1944 in Ajo, Arizona.

Ramona was a friend to everyone; she didn’t know a stranger. Her cheerful disposition always kept a smile on her face. Ramona will always be remembered as a classy, well put together lady. She was a familiar face to all as she worked for Dr. Gullett’s Office here in Show Low for more than 30 years.

She was a great cook and made the best tacos ever!! She is known as the “Silly Nana” by her great-grandchildren; they were treasured by her. Her family meant the world to her. Ramona was thoughtful, selfless and full of life. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her son, Guy (Julie) Hartman of Show Low; daughter, Kelly (Casper) Boyer of Show Low; grandson, Dean (Melissa) Hartman of Show Low, whom she helped raise as a young child; grandchildren, Rachael Hall of Show Low, TK (Shelby) Boyer of Show Low, Kaella (Garrison) Fawcett of Show Low, Jacob and Emily Boyer of Show Low; great-grandchildren, Trip, Emma, Maelee, Taylor and Makenna; sisters, Trinidad (Ruben) Encinas of Ajo, Arizona, Artemisa (Sherron Dee) Julander of Ajo, Arizona; brothers, David (Rosemary) Montijo of Tucson, Arizona and Ignacio (Consuelo) Montijo of Tucson, Arizona as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street Show Low. There will also be a memorial service held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 400 W. Palo Verde Ave. N, Ajo, Arizona 85321.
