Peggie Lee Noble

February 18, 1945 — May 15, 2021

Peggie Lee Noble died Saturday afternoon, May 15, 2021, at her home in Show Low, Arizona with her forever sweetheart at her side.  She was 76 years old.  Peggie was born on February 18, 1945, in Buckeye, Maricopa County, Arizona to her parents, the late James Joe and Lena Mae (Sasser) Long.

Peggie worked as a customer service representative for Citi financial for many years.  She was one who always remained calm in a crisis and soothed the concerns and fears of the public she served.  She was well liked by her coworkers and hers was always a friendly face around the office.

Peggie was a loving mother to her children and she taught them important life lessons that have been a positive influence in each of their lives. Her love for them was unconditional and constant. On May 29, 1992, Peggie married Thomas Alan Noble in Mesa, Arizona.  Their marriage was later solemnized in The Mesa Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She warmly welcomed Tom's boys into her heart. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She rejoiced in their successes and comforted them during their trials and they, in turn, did the same for her.

Peggie was a faithful member of the Church and served in its Primary program for many years.  She loved teaching the primary kids about how important they were in Heavenly Father's Great Plan of Happiness. She was able to serve in the Primary presidency as a secretary as well. She was a person who practiced what she preached and always treated others with kindness, dignity and respect.

Peggie was a lady, in every sense of the word. Additionally, she was a lady who knew how to have fun! She loved her dogs, and taking them on a walk around the block was as much a treat for her as it was for them. She enjoyed the great-out-of-doors and camping with her family. She and Tom regularly took their jet boat to Canyon Lake and loved to be among the first boaters of the day on the water.  She would jump in the boat and hold on tight as Tom let go, full throttle, and cut through the "glasslike" surface of the lake. To say the least, it was exhilarating!  She also loved taking her Hot Rod '41 Chevy out, along with other hot-rod enthusiasts, to Del Mar and Pleasanton, California. She looked for the joy that life had to offer and always found it.

Peggie Lee Noble is survived by her husband, Thomas Noble of Show Low, Arizona; son, Duke Shaver of Mesa, Arizona, daughter, Kimberley Shaver of Mesa, Arizona; 2 step-sons: Michael Noble of Scottsdale, Arizona, Mark Noble of Phoenix, Arizona; 3 sisters: Henrietta, Jimmie and Johnnie.  Along with her parents, Peggie was preceded in death by her 2 eldest sons, Dennis Farmer and Kenneth Farmer.

The funeral service will begin 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Show Low Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1401 W. Deuce of Clubs in Show Low, Arizona where the visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M.  The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the Show Low Cemetery in Show Low, Arizona.

Peggie's family is thankful for the acts of kindness they have received during this difficult time and are especially grateful for all the prayers offered up on their behalf.
