Patricia “Pat” Mary Lueras of Tucson, Arizona passed away on July 26, 2022 in Show Low, Arizona. She was 66. Pat was born on August 23, 1955 in Atalissa, Iowa to her parents the late, Earl and Kathleen (Pey) DeVore.
She grew up and attended school in Iowa where she played softball. Pat worked in various places in Iowa and Illinois as a utility worker before moving to Tucson where she worked for APS/Southwest gas before her retirement.
Her hobbies included shooting pool, playing video games like candy crush and word puzzles and she was an accomplished photographer who loved animals of all kinds, especially her cats and hummingbirds.
Pat had a deep love for her country and was very patriotic. She was a lifetime Auxiliary Member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars and was proud that her father, brother and nephew served. Supporting Veterans was a big part of her life, and something she took very seriously. She loved to spend time between Tucson and the White Mountains with her many family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, George Lueras of Tucson; sister, Kathy and many cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Kevin and Mike.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
