Patricia Jean Passanti

Patricia Jean "PJ" Passanti of Lakeside, Arizona, passed away, July 7, 2022 after a long illness.   She was born to Gerard and Gaetana (Peretti) Passanti in Brooklyn, New York on January 4, 1948.  She moved to Arizona as a child, and also lived in California for several years.  

PJ loved to serve others.  She lived out the love of Jesus by caring for others her whole life.  This not only included her family and members of the community, but the clients she worked with in her career with the Department of Developmental Disabilities.  She was a great listener, amazing cook, and generous giver.   She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and an infant son.   PJ is survived by daughters Maria Carlson, Gina Cruze, Samantha Lauderdale, and Dana Vande Wiele, as well as 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.   She was an only child and always surprised by her large family.

A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
