Mildred May Beecroft, 85, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
She loved her family and having them around her. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She always welcomed everyone to her home and could stretch any meal to include any amount of people that might come. No one left her home hungry. She had open arms and cared about everyone. She spent her life in service to anyone in need, including caring for an aging mother and her husband in his last trials. She was there organizing and helping with losses and filling needs.
Mildred was able to serve in the LDS temple, which was a long-awaited goal. It made her so happy. She served in many positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life and loved every minute of it.
She leaves behind children, DeLee Cain, Cherry Delgado, JR Beecroft, and Smiley Beecroft; 12 grandchildren, Shalon Jones, JD Beecroft, Sarina Gordon, Melissa McClure, Christopher Owens, Jesse Cain, Churice Westbrook, Ernest Delgado, Hannah Beecroft, Axel Beecroft, JT Beecroft, Zara Beecroft; 28 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Ralph, Frank, and Lynn Despain; and sisters, Shirley Hall & Betty Curtin. She will be missed every day.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude & Mildred Despain; sisters, Dorothy Crandell and Charlotte Crandell; brothers, Claude and Earl Despain; and husband, Lee P. Beecroft.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 15th at 10:00 am at the Heber Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Hwy 260, in Heber, with a viewing one-hour prior.
Burial will follow at the Heber Cemetery.
