Mike Reed Powell

Mike R. Powell passed away in Mesa, Arizona on February 8, 2019. He was born on March 3, 1954 in Tucson, Arizona.  He was the son of Edwin and Lois Powell.

He is survived by his daughter, Erin McNeil; three grandchildren, Dominic, Malaia, and Rya; three brothers, Dean, Don and J.D. Powell. 

Mike was an avid baseball player, loved playing guitar and enjoyed hiking, biking, skiing and 4-wheel driving.  Had a life-long passion for fixing up old cars, as evidenced by the elaborate garage addition on his house. Mike was born in Tucson, Arizona and grew up in Holbrook, Arizona and graduated from Holbrook High School.  He started his career in manufacturing at Garrett Air Research and worked through many roles and company acquisitions retiring from Honeywell.  Mike's wit, laugh and sense of humor was infectious.  He leaves behind a saddened group of friends and family with his untimely death. 

Mike's celebration of life will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 20, 2019 at the Holbrook United Methodist Church, 118 W. Arizona Street.
