Mickaline Pagels

Mickaline (Mickey) Pagels, 90, passed away on May 29th, 2024, in Show Low, AZ.

Mickey was born on March 13, 1934 in Buffalo, NY, to Louis Juliano and Jessie (Sipari) Gambini.

On February 16, 1952 she married the love of her life, Richard Pagels. They were married 51 years prior to his passing.

Mickey and Richard were proud parents of five children. Mickey dedicated her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her sons, James (Lynn), Richard (Debra), Jeffrey (Sheryl) and Kenneth (Lynne), as well as her daughter Cecilia (Joe) Brown. She leaves behind her 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was known for her competitive spirit, always striving for excellence in all aspects of life. Mickey's passion for cooking brought joy to her family, evident by her homemade lasagna at family gatherings and the countless requests for recipes to carry on the traditions. Her skillful hands found solace in the art of crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that will serve as cherished memories of her talent and creativity.

Mickey will be inurned with her husband Richard, at the East Mesa Christian Church. Though she may have left this world, Mickey's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and generosity. Her memory will forever remain a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, James (Dawn); sister, Lucille (Art) Movalli; and brothers, Louis (Bernie) and Donald Juliano.

A private service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Mickey will be remembered for her strength, love, and unwavering dedication to her family.
