Maxine D. Tortice, 72, passed away January 4, 2024, at her home in Whiterive, Arizona. She was born March 21, 1951 to Marie Malone Dunlap and Wallace Dunlap, in Whiteriver.
Maxine is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Tortice; foster daughter, Mellika Tortice; grandchildren, Xavier, Zachary and Zoe Tools, and Andre Tortice; great-grandchildren, Lakota, Xander, and Lexi Tools.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Tortice; sister, Ollie Jean Dunlap; and brother, Modesto Dunlap.
A Viewing will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 pm, at North Fork Miracle Church in Whiteriver, Arizona.
Burial will follow at Chieftain Cemetery in Whiteriver.
