Matthew Jonathan Mills, Jr.

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Matthew Mills Jr., a beautiful baby boy, who was born on July 12, 2023, and left this world too soon on August 19, 2023. Matthew Jr. was a sweet child with a big smile and beautiful blue eyes that charmed everyone he met.

Matthew Jr. is deeply mourned by his loving parents, Casandra Mills and Matthew Mills, who provided an environment of immense love and warmth for their little boy. He will forever be held in the hearts of his siblings; Chayden Goins, Isabella Goins, Chloe Mills, Liam Platt, Schellby Mills, and Payse Mills. His brother, Brandon Godwin, predeceased him.  He meets him in heaven. Matthew’s vibrant spirit will be remembered by his grandparents; Robin Rozell, Susan Wood, Michael Mills, Jennifer Alley-Robinson, Loren Robinson, Carol Metcalf-Johnson, and Rick Johnson. Their love and affection for Matthew Jr. was immeasurable and he brought immense joy into their lives during his brief time on this earth. His aunts and uncles; Mysterie Schroeder, David Wood, Tallon Rozell, and Troy Rozell, were blessed to have shared special moments with Matthew Jr. during his short, yet impactful life. His memory will forever bring a smile to their faces and warmth to their hearts.

Matthew Jr.'s life was a brief gift to us all and he will forever be in our hearts. Through his family and loved ones, his vibrant spirit will live on. Even in his short time on earth, Matthew Jr. brought joy, happiness, and love to all around him.
