Mary Lou Ulibarri, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, with her children by her side at her home in Snowflake. She was born on September 13, 1936 in McNary, Arizona and grew up in Holbrook, Az.
In October 1954, she married the love of her life; George, and they spent the next 68 years together. Her next chapter began as a homemaker, she raised five children of whom she adored. She was a master crocheter and loved to share her masterpiece doilies with friends and family. She was a devout Catholic and her faith became even stronger as she grew older.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Barela (Severo, Jr.); son, Aaron George Ulibarri and her beloved husband, George. She is survived by her sons Norman Ulibarri (Sharon), Snowflake; Gabriel Ulibarri, Show Low, and daughter Cynthia Coor (Mike), Queen Creek; along with 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Viewing will take place on Monday at Owens Livingston Mortuary in Snowflake from 5pm-6:30pm with the Rosary following. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Our Lady of the Snow Catholic Church in Snowflake at 1:30 pm with burial following at the Mike Ramsay Cemetery.
She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
