Marvin Cook passed away at the age of 77 on September 20, 2019 in Show Low, Arizona. Marvin was born in Greensburg, Indiana on January 4, 1942 to Arthur and Elizabeth (Cooper) Cook.
He grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. When he graduated from high school in 1959, he enlisted in theUnited States Air Force, served 4 years and was honorably discharged in 1963.
In 1970 he and his family moved from Fort Lauderdale to Phoenix, Arizona, where he started a business and then in 1976 he moved the business to Show Low, Arizona. He loved Show Low and so he stayed.
The funeral service will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N 9th Street, Show Low with a viewing beginning at 11:00 A.M.
He is survived by his son, Daryl Cook and his son, Cashton Cook; his daughter, Jodi Jones and husband, Colin; their 2 sons, Oliver and Elliot Jones; his brother, Greg Cook and wife, Mickie; their 3 children, Wendy Lund and husband, Dan, Daniel Cook and wife, Mindy and James Cook.
He was preceded in death by his dog Harley, his Boston Terrier and best friend.
Marvin had a love for Harley’s, old cars and young women.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arizona Boston Terrier Rescue, P.O. Box 15555, Scottsdale, Arizona 85267 in Marvin’s name.
