Martha Eleanor Beckman

Martha Eleanor Beckman of Show Low, Arizona peacefully passed away on April 2, 2019 in Snowflake, Arizona. She was 97. Martha was born on August 16, 1921 in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania to the late David Wilson and Katharine Jane (Johnston) Axe.

She married Edgar “Ed” Beckman in 1948. Martha moved to Phoenix, Arizona with her husband, Ed and sons, David and Mark in 1957. She graduated from the Grand Canyon University and taught Elementary School throughout Arizona including a one room schoolhouse in Morristown. She retired from teaching to help Ed with their Shacklee Distributorship.

She loved dark chocolate and board games, especially Parcheesi.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ed.

Martha is survived by her 2 sons; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Committal services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, Arizona.
