Margaret A. "Peggy" Hatchard

Margaret A. “Peggy” Hatchard, age 74, of Vernon, Arizona passed away peacefully January 21, 2019 in her home, as she wished, with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 26, 1944 in Michigan.

Prior to retirement Peggy worked for Walmart for 16 years. Mom loved playing cards and board games, taking road trips, creating special greeting cards, but most of all spending time with family and friends whom she loved dearly.

Peggy is survived by one brother, John Thompson of California; 3 sons, Robert (Claudia) Williams of Utah, and Ron and Randy Williams of California; 3 daughters, Becky (Ben) Nikocevic of California, Sheryl Sabir of Lakeside, Arizona and Ronda (Curt) Lanning of California and a cherished friend Gayla Cox of Lakeside. Peggy is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; a daughter, Theresa Lagouski and her granddaughter, Kiela Sabir.

Our family wishes to express sincere appreciation to Summit Healthcare, Compassus Hospice and Alpha Oxy Med for their rapid response in making it possible for us to honor her wishes of being home in her final hours. We would also like to thank Your Family Practice Team.
