Malinda "Lin" Dale Rose passed away June 4, 2024 in Snowflake, Arizona. She was born February 24, 1947 in Parsons, Kansas, an only child, to Royal Dale and Betty Kathleen Mullen. 

Lin spent her childhood in Parson's, going to grade school and Junior High there. Her family moved to Wichita during her Junior year and there she graduated from Wichita Southeast High School. She attended one year at Pittsburgh State College in Pittsburgh, KS.

On August 21, 1966 she married Jerry Rose, (that boy that she had known since she was 5 years old), in the Washington Avenue Methodist Church in Parsons.  The couple lived in Topeka, KS for 2 years, while Jerry was stationed at Forbes Air Force Base. When he was deployed to Vietnam, Lin moved back to Wichita to live with her parents. At his return, they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she worked as a Medical Transcriptionist for Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center. In 1983 the family moved to Phoenix, Arizona and Lin continued working as a Medical Transcriptionist for Thunderbird MRI. She retired in April 2010 and in 2017 she and Jerry moved to Overgaard, Arizona to enjoy their retirement.

Lin's hobbies included sewing, quilting, reading and camping. She also loved returning to Kansas and Oklahoma to visit her relatives or going to a class reunion. A special time for she and Jerry was to pick up lunch and go to Pioneer Park in Snowflake to enjoy a picnic. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Rose; sons, Jeffrey Rose (Allison) and Richard Rose; daughter, Angela Rose (John); five grandchildren, Jalen, Taren, Jason, Jordyn, and Avery; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Owens Livingston Mortuary~Heritage Chapel, 84 E. 19 S., Snowflake, Arizona, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.

Burial will take place at Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor.
