Lyon Clark DeWitt

Lyon Clark DeWitt, 73, of Show Low, AZ peacefully passed away on November 20, 2021, with his sweetheart by his side. 

Lyon leaves behind a legacy to be proud of.  He is survived by his eternal companion of 48 years, Beth (Stapley) DeWitt, and their charming and talented children: Janell DeWitt-Stacy, Cami DeWitt, Maryon Wallentine, DeWy DeWitt, Tyler DeWitt, Dustyn DeWitt, Jeanie Thatcher, 3 sons-in-law, 2 daughters-in-law and 15 grandchildren, all whom he adored! He is also survived by his siblings, Rodney DeWitt, Loris Reidhead, Leslie DeWitt, and Lawrence DeWitt.

Lyon was a hard worker and the epitome of a family man. He enjoyed “shooting the breeze” with his brothers and buddies while working on cars in his shop. He loved big trucks and machines, motorcycles, classic cars, and sports. He loved spending time with his kids, watching his grandkids do what they love, having his family close, and spending time with the love of his life. 

As a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a lifelong member of the White Mountain community, Lyon was a loyal friend to everyone. He lived a life full of service, friendships, laughter, and unconditional love. We are eternally grateful for his example as a true disciple of Jesus Christ. 

The DeWitt family would like to thank the many earthly angels for the outpouring of love we have received during this difficult time. We are especially grateful for all the prayers offered on our behalf. 

We invite you to celebrate Lyon’s life with us. A viewing will held Thursday December 2, 2021 at Owens Livingston Mortuary from 6:00-7:00pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 10:00am, with an additional viewing one hour prior, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5150 Highway 260, Clay Springs, AZ 85293
