Leonard "Lee" Wesley Trammell died at the dawning of a new day, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona. He was 71 years old. Lee, a seventh generation Arizonan, was born on a Sunday, May 7, 1950, in Phoenix to his parents, the late Dale Edward and Loretta Elizabeth (Ebersold) Trammell.
He was a member of Phoenix' Washington High School's Class of '68. For nearly the next 3 decades, Lee worked as a Precision Sheet Metal Mechanic in the Aerospace industry where many of his years were spent working for Hallmark Metal Products in Phoenix. He thrived there and excelled in all areas. He was a man who had an incredible talent, when it came to metal, some would even say he was an artist. Lee loved working with sheet metal and created countless designs that ultimately became treasured gifts to his family and friends: He made minions, dragons, pumpkins, moons and stars, elephants, "Bob the Builder," Patriotic Stars & Stripes, Ravens and Cardinals. He and Robyn moved up to White Mountain Lake in 1996. They loved living in the beautiful White Mountains of the State. He continued with his metal work and most recently, all of his children received special wind chimes from him. He also spent quiet time on the lake fishing. Any hole in the White Mountains was his favorite "fishing' hole." Also, depending upon the season, Lee loved to go on big game hunts especially, Elk and Deer. One other thing that Lee loved to do was cruise around town in his '58 Chevy! He took that '58 Chevy wherever it would go along countless road trips through the years.
Along with his parents, Lee was preceded in death by a brother, Edward in 1984 and a grandson, Jarrett in 2021. Lee is survived by his large family: wife, Robyn Trammell of Show Low, AZ; 5 children: Danielle (husband, Lee - dec'd 2021) of Phoenix, AZ, Katherine of Phoenix, AZ, Terra (Stephen) of Show Low, AZ, Eric (Sarah) of Phoenix, AZ, Rene' of Phoenix, AZ; 6 siblings: Dorothy of Springerville, AZ, Lou (Darlene) of Scottsdale, AZ, Stefanie (Jim) of Phoenix, AZ, Lenora (Roy) of Phoenix, AZ, Neil of California and Edward (deceased - 1984).
