In loving memory of an Army Veteran Leo Williams, Sr. also known as “Punk.” He was born on December 28, 1948 and passed away on April 7, 2019 in Sun City West, Arizona.
Leo will be brought back for a two night wake starting 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the family home, 209 Butterfly Lane, Turkey Creek, Arizona. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Riverside Miracle Church with Pastor Donna Loas officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Javalina Cemetery in Seven Mile, Arizona.
Leo is survived by his wife, Ilona Williams; children: Bradley (Karen) Clarkson, Bernadette Clarkson, Anthony (Valarie) Williams, Michelle (Shawn) Kenton and Leo Williams, Jr.; 5 brothers: Luke (Vivian) Williams, Dennis (Lucille) Williams, Justin (Evangeline) Williams, Raphael (Josephine) Williams and Sandy Williams; 1 sister, Ann (Barney) Burnette.
He was employed for many years and retired from the B.I.A Forestry department where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was also employed with Southwest Forest Industries, Sunrise Ski Resort, WMAT Game & Fish and Pinetop Logging.
He finished his basic training in the States and was stationed in Germany.
