Lenore June Peeler

In loving memory Lenore June Peeler 85, of Overgaard, Arizona, was called to her eternal life in Heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 18^th, 2021.  She was born to Leonard and Lillian Thorp on August 7, 1936 in Highland Park, Michigan.

She has left behind countless friends whom she loved and cherished.  Lenore served in many volunteer roles.  She served as the director of sight and hearing and of the Leader dogs for the blind, as an active member of the Lion’s Club.  She also served on the board of the Shepherd of the Pines United Methodist Church.  Lenore was a member of the Archaeology Club.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the circumstances.

A celebration of Lenore’s life will be held at Shepherd of the Pines United Methodist Church, 3015 Highway 277, in Overgaard on October 3, 2021 at  1:00 p.m. 

Arrangements have been made at Owen Livingston Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial gifts be directed to Accord Hospice, Overgaard Ponderosa Lions Club, or Shepherd of the Pines UMC.
