In loving memory of Lenora Fall Gordon

Born August 29, 1945 and left this earthly dwelling place to her heavenly home on March 5, 2023 in Mesa, Arizona.

Viewing for Lenora will be at the East Fork Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 8 am to 10 am. Funeral Service to follow. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery.

Lenora is survived by her husband of 47 years, Baxter Gordon; daughter, Tanya Gordon; granddaughter, Tyree Nelson; brother, Leonard Fall; sisters, Katherine Grant and Cora Fall; godchildren, Anthony Grant, Kimberly Cannon, Markina Fall, Kathy Hinton; and many family and friends.

Family and friends may escort Lenora from Hondah at 7:15am to the East Fork Lutheran Church. Tribal leaders, church singers and speakers are welcome.

Lenora was a very loving and humble lady. She shone with beauty and simplicity. She lived life to the fullest.

Lenora was employed with Headstart and Seven Mile Elementary School as a teacher's assistant. She loved working with children and she found it to be a true joy to teach them. Lenora found happiness in nature. She could be found stream fishing at Paradise Creek or hiking the back country of Cedar Creek. She had a passion for traveling. Her favorite places to visit were Central Park in New York City, and the mountains of Silverton, Colorado. She was an avid reader as well.

Lenora loved being a wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and most importantly a grandmother.  Her pride and joy was her granddaughter, whom she always encouraged to “Reach for the farthest star”.

Lenora's soft laughter and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
