Leland Ray Geiger III

Leland Ray Geiger III, 43, passed away Wednesday February 20^th 2019 at. He was born December 2^nd 1975.

He grew up in Snowflake where he attended elementary and middle school and graduated from Snowflake High School in 1996. Lee Ray (as he was known growing up) took to sports early on and spent many an hour playing wiffle ball, baseball, football, and basketball with his younger siblings. Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially with his Grandma and Grandpa Geiger, his brothers, and his sons. He was quite a car enthusiast and always had a classic car to drive and work on. He was also a skilled truck driver and heavy equipment operator. At the time of his death, he was employed as a driver for T&M Trucking. Throughout his life, Lee’s wit and humor were much appreciated by his family and many friends. He was very loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Krystal Andres; sons, Kaden Zachary Geiger and Leland Ray Geiger IV; father, Leland Ray Geiger Jr. and his wife Jackie Geiger; two brothers, Troy James Geiger and Trever Ryan Geiger; sisters, Arlett Green, and Carin Stradling of Snowflake, and Candice White of Safford; and Grandmother, June Nichols of Snowflake.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leland Ray Sr. and Lavieve Rogers Geiger and Delbert Lee Nichols; his mother, Pearlene Nichols Griffin; and his brother Jesse Randall Geiger.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Temple View Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2885 W. Hwy 277, in Snowflake, Arizona, with a viewing one hour prior.

Burial will follow in the R.V. “Mike” Ramsay Memorial Cemetery.
