Laura Mae Christensen

Laura Mae Christensen died Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Summit Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona. She was 74 years old. Laura was also born on a Wednesday, May 21, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her parents, the late John and Mary Ellen (Holiday) Thorne.  

Laura was a wonderful and loving wife to her husband. In 1998, Laura moved to Arizona and, has since, made it her home. She loved living in its beautiful White Mountains, where nature's beauty was right outside her back door.

Laura is survived by her husband, Jay Walter Christensen of Lakeside, Arizona; her stepson, Greg (Debbie) McManis of Seattle, Washington and her sister, Mary Joanne Davis of Coweta, Oklahoma. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Wilson; half-siblings: Jean Slankard, Jimmy Wilson, Don Wilson and George Wilson.

Her family is thankful for the gift of life that she has shared with them and she will be greatly missed.
