Krystle-Rae Goldtooth

May 25, 1983 — July 6, 2018

Krystle-Rae Goldtooth was born on May 25, 1983 in Fort Defiance, Arizona to Regina Thompson Goldtooth and John Goldtooth, Jr. Krys left this earth during the early morning of July 6, 2018 for Heaven. She was surrounded by her family. Krys was raised on the Navajo Reservation, Tsaile, Arizona during her younger years and the Goldtooth family moved back to Whiteriver, Arizona to raise their four children.

She attended Whiteriver Elementary, Jr High and Alchesay High School. During her elementary and jr high years she was a very excellent chess player along with her brother, Aaron. She and the chess team traveled to tournaments where she won some certificates, medals and trophies. After high school she attended NPC at Whiteriver and graduated with an Associate of Arts.

She was a very likeable person with a good heart, always smiling and she always helped her family members and friends in need; she did not expect anything in return.  

She is survived by her only child, a son, Dayhon Yazzie; mom, Regina Thompson; dad, John Goldtooth, Jr.; brothers, Geoffrey (Nadia) Goldtooth, Aaron Goldtooth; sister, Lacey (Jotham) Goldtooth-Thomas; aunt, Sandra Thompson and 2 nieces, 3 nephews and many more family members and friends.

A one night wake was held on July 13, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., 101 W. Cliffrose St. Funeral services were held on July 14, 2018 at the Lutheran Church of the Open Bible officiated by Pastor Kirk Massey. Interment was at the Whiteriver Cemetery.
