Kimbyl Ann Knowles

January 5, 1955 — May 7, 2018

Kimbyl Ann Knowles of Show Low, Arizona and formerly of Flagstaff, Arizona passed away on May 7, 2018 at her home in Show Low. She was 63. Kim was born in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Frank and Georgia Ann (Shinn) Muscutt on January 5, 1955.

Kim was a very determined, headstrong individual. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff at the age of 50. She then went on to further her education obtaining her Master’s Degree in Education from NAU at the age of 55. She was the Academic Advisor for NAU’s Hotel and Restaurant Management department. She was “Mom” to hundreds of students.

Kim was the past President for the Lion’s Club in Flagstaff and current Lion’s Club President in Show Low. She had huge heart for animals of all kinds, especially rescue animals. She loved to travel and enjoyed sewing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George “Everett” Knowles.

Her survivors include her sister, Robin Jaeger of Show Low and brother, Dan Muscutt of Phoenix as well as many extended family members and friends.

Memorial services for Kim will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the Licanos Restaurant, 573 W. Deuce of Clubs, Show Low. A Celebration of her life will immediately follow until 1:30 P.M.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Pet Allies, 4050 S. White Mountain Road, Show Low, Arizona 85901 in Kim’s name.
